The album "Folklore" and this is the "Parental Advisory" version of the album. This also is considered a Limited Edition and Deluxe Edition. The album features 16 tracks and this CD has a 17th "Bonus Track" of the song "The Lakes" What makes this a Limited Edition is it is a HAND SIGNED / AUTOGRAPHED edition that was sold exclusively on Taylor Swift's website. This is now SOLD OUT on her website, no longer available to purchase. Only a limited number of the Autographed CD's were available for sale for fans to buy from the Taylor Swift website. The website also limited the number of CD's a single customer can order in a transaction as well as one transaction per email address to try to ensure every fan can get one while the limited supplies lasted. As mentioned, it's no longer available on her website for sale and has long since SOLD OUT, now considered a collector's item commanding a premium value as a collectible. The way these were fulfilled directly by Taylor Swift's company was she hand signed the cover of booklet, then these booklets were sealed and even have both the "Parental Advisory" sticker and the "Folklore" album sticker on the cellophane wrapper. This was a very professional presentation by Taylor Swift and her company to her fans. If you notice, her autograph has slight variances in the positioning / location where she signs on the CD booklet when comparing others you may see that she's autographed. This is probably a strong indicator and testament to the authenticity. If the size and location of a signature is consistent, as they were for other artists who touted "signed CD's" that ended up being facsimile signatures done by mechanical "auto pens" (not hand signed by the artist who touches and handles each piece to sign). I included an image of the CD and description that was found on Taylor Swift's website soliciting this special limited edition offer of the signed / autographed CD. SO... for ASSURANCE, what I ended up doing is I had BAS Beckett Authentication Services evaluate this exact item to get it AUTHENTICATED. BAS charges $50 to authenticate a Taylor Swift signature which then you can opt to have it encased in a tamper proof slab with serial number that's registered on a label, or you could opt for a COA certificate of authenticity authentication using a matching serial number sticker that's applied to the item, but the item is not encased. I've found most collectors prefer the preservation archival quality slab that's also beautiful to display over the separate COA authentication presentation and format. Rest assured, unlike with other sellers who sell autographed items, when you get it AUTHENTICATED it's guaranteed and has been evaluated by experts. No need to worry about whether your item's signature is real or not, and when it comes time where you might want to resell this item, it retains a higher value because it's been authenticated. For yourself or as a gift, it comes in a beautiful presentation and display format with the hard acrylic case. The music CD is brand new, unused and only opened to remove the signed CD cover and the CD itself was never played, in mint condition. So, again - - this CD here was sold directly from Taylor Swift's website, and I purchased it direct as the original owner. The CD came sealed brand new, and the booklet 4.75" x 4.75" front piece is hand signed, autographed on the front by Taylor Swift, and was submitted to BAS Beckett Authentication Services for authentication and encasement. This came directly to the consumer (me) as the original customer, and Taylor Swift's company was in charge of managing the signing and fulfillment of the orders of these signed CD's. I'll be upfront and honest. The only way to verify whether either scenario has occurred with the signed CD you have is to submit it to a 3rd party authentication company like a BAS (Beckett Authentication Services) or a JSA (James Spence Authentication) who specializes in analyzing autograph forensics and certifying their trusted and respected opinion on what is authentic or not. It did not come with any COA from Taylor Swift. This was a special offer created as a Limited Edition of the Deluxe Edition CD for Taylor Swift's fans to get an autographed CD from her. So, again, I went through the process of time and expense to get this authenticated.
